Pressure washing of the drive.
This morning we have our annual pressure washing of the drive and patio.
I will get our hose out later just to rinse off the pots in the border! He does, however, rinse off everything else and does an excellent, rather noisy job.
The advantage of all this cleaning disturbs worms and grubs so there are pickings for our resident robin, and the pair of blackbirds, who are busily constructing their nest.
I managed to just take a photo of the robin who was foraging in the bottom border by the patio.
MIH was not at all fazed by the noise and watched with great interest through the front window, (extra photo) as the spray rose into the air. Tiger, our old cat, used to hate this process and go behind the back of the settee till it was finished!
