Botanists

Here are two botanists on Arnside Knott. They are searching for signs of the appearance of a rare plant. When they find them they put cages on them to stop the rabbits nibbling off the flower buds.

One of the botanists is an amateur (Mrs. K.) and the other is a recently retired professional botanist who has come to live in the village and is a great addition to our natural history expertise . I won’t ask you to guess which is which.
