Dunkeld

What a glorious day of sunshine and blue skies, so after lunch we left the carpenter to finish repairing the decking and headed off to Dunkeld for a walk along the River Tay with friend L, who lives in the town.

We stopped at various benches to admire the views and this is the famous Telford Bridge, which used to be a toll bridge and has a fascinating history. A few more views in Extras, including Dunkeld Cathedral from the front as the more photogenic side view is marred by the current scaffolding along its length.

After the walk, we headed back to our friend's house for coffee and scones and a good catch up before the drive back home via Perth (and the endless roadworks!)
