Packwood House

We met John and Jennie at Packwood House.  After a drink and lunch we went off for a wander, first having a look around the house then the gardens and lake.

The weather improved during the afternoon, finishing warm and sunny.

The photo is of the Prospect Room.  It is in the grounds of Packwood beyond the lake.  A notice had mentioned an art installation and the Prospect Room so we went over to take a look.  The building was empty except for a wooden bench. Nice place to shelter from an unexpected shower I thought.  Then I read the small brass plaque which indicated that the structure itself is the art installation.
