Late in the afternoon yesterday, Bert received an email with the appointment that the under-the-stairs cupboard we ordered was ready and could be placed on Monday. I slightly panicked, because this meant that I had to paint the doorpost, something I was planning to do during Easter holidays, because building the cupboard would take a couple of weeks, they said, and not days.
I sanded and painted and liked this improvement. Then after I had done the housekeeping and was drinking a cup of coffee, I wondered if I shouuld make a start with redecorating the back room. I decided to pull wallpaper off one wall to assess what the stucco looks like.

Well, now I have started. There is no way back.
