What would Socrates have thought!

This moving morass of people including the clearly bored youngster had descended (should that be climbed?) onto the Acropolis. There was barely standing room and imminent danger of your eye being taken out by someone's selfie stick!
Luckily we were battling through the crowds as we made our way out. We were glad of the decision to get up early as we pretty much had the place to ourselves for the majority of our visit.
It is a spectacular and awe inspiring site.
