Santa's helper

We encountered one of Santa's elves today in the persona of this lady who was working behind the counter at a shop, selling wreaths and other Christmas decorations. We were in Altoona, Pennsylvania, 250 miles from home, to decorate the graves of Bob's parents, aunts, and uncles. We chose a wreath we liked from her display, and she made us three more to match. Then we were off to the cemeteries to place them on the graves. She was so cheerful and helpful, I just knew she must be one of Santa's helpers. When I asked if I could take her picture, she said, "Why? ... I don't like to have my picture taken? ... Wait until I take off my glasses." Then she posed nicely as she continued working on the wreaths. Some days you meet the most delightful people in unexpected places. Today was one of those days.
