Flood level markers
Visible from the Mount Lindesay highway at the Logan river bridge are these flood level markers.
Constructed using timber from the original bridge built in the early 1900's, they indicate some of the recorded flood levels through the years. The indicator on the left records the level in 1887, and that on the right in 2017. The present river level is 18-20 metres below where I stood when taking this picture.
