On the Sunny Side of the Maashorst...Part 2

Another beautiful but cold start of the day! What a bliss...
We always keep Tex on a leash in the woods... And today it proved itself that that's a good choice... 3 deer ran through the bushes beside us and I really had to hold Tex firm on his leash, otherwise he would have run after them... probably with nasty and bad consequences... I would never forgive myself if something bad would happened... There are many people at the Maashorst who let their dog run free, and other people and definitely animals are bothered  by them...As far as I am concerned, there should be more control through enforcement...A dog on a long line can also run, jump and go crazy... .It only requires more effort from the owners...Our Tex is always exhausted after our walk ..
