Packhorse Hut

It was a day of weather contrasts up at Packhorse Hut today, on the Port Hills.

After mpp26 and I climbed up to the hut, we found a stiff southerly blowing the tussocks, and rising mist swirling around the hill tops. That's when I took my photo. Soon, the mist rose, the sun shone, and mpp26 chose to show the grand old hut in a different mood.
