Bees

The Berberis beside the house has become a huge shrub and a haven for bees when in flower, whatever the time of day or evening, it’s humming. This particular shrub is in much need of pruning although it stays and grows, it’s one of those all year round plants making it difficult to decide when to cut it.

Trying to capture a bee on camera was more tricky than anticipated after hearing a constant hum, the bees moved higher and out of sight.
