Harrowing and Sowing!

So different from yesterday!  Cloudy and cold  -  7 degrees feels like 5 degrees as reported by the Met Office.  The farmer was harrowing the field at the bottom of my garden once again  - I photographed him on the 8th April when he did his first harrow.  According to Farm-direct he is likely to be sowing Oilseed Rape.  Spring Oilseed Rape is sown in March/April, and flowers later than winter types becoming ready to harvest in Aug/Sept. Or according to another link he may be sowing Peas.  We'll have to wait and see.  On the other hand he may have decided to leave it fallow  -  I doubt that though  -  this machine looks like it is sowing something.  Not a Seagull in sight  -  that was strange  -  maybe they ate all the worms and insects when the last harrow took place☺
