The Dyeing Industry

Here's the holiday challenge - make a bright yellow tie dyed table cloth for a church Gathering Space for the season of Easter.

We three had fun chatting and tieing knots on little twists of fabric. These 2 young women have always been good company with and without adults around.
Then they headed off to the laundry to do the dying. Apart from this photo, I left them to it, as I had full confidence in their ability. Unfortunately the laundry tub plug was the weak link, so the final result was paler than I had hoped.

Still, it worked well and will form the backdrop to a very colorful next stage. Watch this space!
