Smile!

Busy full day at the UKSG conference while T took the children out for a day of activities.

R was insistent on having a special smiley face breakfast and I spent much of the day smiling and chatting to people on the exhibition stand between meetings.

I believe this to be my 2000th blip which seems incredible. I’ve chronicled such a lot every day since C was 2, he’s now 7 & 3/4 and well before R arrived on the scene!

My very first blip happened after I spent the day at a library conference in London and heard Blip’s founder Joe Tree speak which inspired me to sign up. It seems fitting that despite not attending many conferences at all since then, probably only one or two - that my 2000th blip should be on the first day of my return to the UKSG conference - a key event in my work life.

A good day and it was lovely to head back after prosecco drinks hour for dinner with the family at the pub next to our hotel.
