Smelly
I need a challenge for "smelly". I probably blipped one of these last year but just in case you need a reminder, this is the flower of a skunk cabbage plant. They grow in very wet areas and can get quite large. This one is almost a foot tall.
I once tried to explain what skunk smelled like to a friend in Australia. Burnt rubber? The skunk cabbage does stink like a skunk, or cannibis, if you are more familiar with that.
The woman I am working with on the photo project lives just over a mile away, down a steep hill, across a creek, and then up another hill. So I decided to walk over there today since otherwise I wouldn't get any exercise. Hence my close encounter with this huge yellow flower.
I had a last lunch with my Boeing colleague and handed over my badge! I am officially done with that - even sent in my last invoice. Yay!!
