Garden Penguins

Now here is a garden tick I never had in Llantwit Fardre! You wait for one new bird to come along and you get a fence full of them all at once!

These are not mine I hasten to add, they are Hayden's next door. He owns the Indian Restaurant next door but one, and I think they are the novelty toys that you can get the kids ice cream in.

It's been a busy day as we get the beginning of the run in to Christmas. We finally got our Christmas cards done, well most of them. We had a plumber in to put the new washing machine in, and this evening I had to take my dad down to a consultant in Cardiff to see how his hernia operation is healing. The good news on the later is the consultant is delighted on how things have gone in the last few days, once again we feel like we are turning a corner. We even managed to get him to the pub on the way home which did him a world of good. He is allowed to drive again which has cheered him up no end.

Slowly but surely we are getting there!
