Blue race

TeeJay, sis (Dumbledorian) and I headed up to Nelson today. Ostensibly we went to see The Hobbit (TeeJay and sis are big Tolkein fans)! We got up thee early so did a bit of shopping beforehand. We then sat through three hours of (well I am not commenting on what!) before having a seriously yummy pizza at Stefano's. We then headed off to the hairdressers for more colour in our hair (TeeJay to cover all her grey bits, me just to be 'daring'!) Then it was more shopping and finally dinner at Styx, a waterside restaurant. While waiting for dinner to arrive I took a few shots of a race that was going on in Nelson. The colour is purely from switching to 'Tungsten' on the lighting setting on the 7D and has not been fiddled with post download - apart from cropping.
