In the pink.

Went   to Aldi to get a few things this morning, and then down to W  H Smiths to get J his Model Railway magazine. Came home, had lunch, and then there was a knock on the door. It was glass eye Peter, and he seemed a bit upset. On a Friday morning a group of older bikers on small capacity motorcycles meet at Llandow for a ride around the Vale. The group leader, called Barry, who is 83 had a major accident when he suddenly lost control of his scooter, and clipped the bank at the side of the road. Several of the members including Peter witnessed the accident. All the emergency services and the air ambulance attended the scene, and he was later air lifted to the Heath hospital in Cardiff. He has life changing injuries. J and Peter are upset because they know Barry well, and he is a great guy.  Our thoughts are with him and his family.
