I have never before stayed in a hotel that has a rubber duck in the bathroom. There is an Olympic swimming pool sized bath for him to swim in. Bizarre place this ‘ere Lunnon Tarrrn.

Had a good trip down on the train from Doncaster- having dropped the dog off at our daughter’s for the weekend. We paid £15 extra to upgrade to 1st class and had our money’s worth of coffee, bacon roll, biscuits, fruit and water - both on the train and in the lounges at the stations!

Meeting up with Mrs madwill’s family for dinner tonight. Can’t afford to drink in the hotel at £4.50 a HALF. Going to be a dry evening!
