Sandwich Terns

Late into Edinburgh Airport last night and the house was freezing when we got home.   After supermarket run and breakfast did a spot of gardening and caught up with the neighbours.   Quire wonder down to the beach and spotted a couple of sandwich terns who kindly put on a show.   I think we usually have artic terns as visitors so this was an interesting change.  Very charismatic little birds.
