Rocking the special pink blanket
This blanket is 40 years old. It belonged to my big sister who sadly passed away 3.5years ago. My mother bought it for a newborn Donna in Iraq (where they lived and where my sister was born). It's not only important to me because of my sister but my mam also used this blanket for me, and then I in turn used it to play with my dolls.
Now, my son is cuddled up for a snooze in it and it fills my heart with joy to see it. I don't care that it's pink, the point is that it is a much loved heirloom for our family.
It's been a full day shopping with Nanny today. Noah was in the mei tai while I pushed nanny around asda. Then we camped at nanny's house, played with some toys and daddy came to meet us. Noah greated Oli with a giant poo (well done my son!) and then fell asleep on him :) Nice life eh!
