Orion's out hunting...
So yet another star blip tonight, but this time I've blipped them when the moon was high-ish in the sky.
The cloud pouring Mount Herbert's summit at the foot of the picture could be the sign of an oncoming blustery easterly, but so far it's not come true, thankfully.
There's a lot of bird call in the near darkness, incuding one I'm not sure I've heard before. It sounded like some kind of rail or waterfowl, but I can't be certain. It might be a case of putting on the headphones and listening to a recorded bird calls tape to try and identify.
Orion's prominent in the sky right now, and he seem's to be kept company by Jupiter. It all adds up to a wonderful show...
