The gentle touch of darkness

Friday started with bright sunshine, but a bit too chilly. Captured this shot on my break at our backyard where was pure white snow and shadows of the birches. At the same I observed that there was again a new habitant checking the bird house compability for nesting purpose at our big backyard birch (extra image). Later in the afternoon clouds covered the sky and just when I would have time for a walk, so I didn't went out and took a nap instead. Life is full of choices. Have a nice weekend!
