virginia bluebells

the weather turned quite cold this week - even some spitting snow today - so I brought in the new and sensitive plants, naturally the mertensia decided that now would be the time to bloom.  I wasn't satisfied with any of the photographs I took, so will try again tomorrow, and decided to go with this mono treatment of one of them.
