Well, Hi There

I saw this season's first Monarch Butterflies in our yard today. They were very interested in the eight Swamp Milkweed bushes I'm growing in buckets by the pond. This Native Florida Milkweed likes to have its feet (roots) damp, so I find that growing them in containers allows me to increase the organic material in their soil allowing it to retain moisture much longer than our very sandy soil.
