Frankfurt Stock Exchange Floor

This is the stock exchange floor in Frankfurt, Germany, which is home to the countries blue chip stock market indexes, the DAX, which consists of 30 major German companies trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, such as Adidas, BMW and Siemens to name a few. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is owned and operated by Deutsche Börse
This photo was taken just before the start of trading at 9am (you hear a bell which signals that trading has started) on Friday 13th February 2009. Trading runs until 17:30 with the closing auction taking place from 17:30 - 17:35.
