Fixing a broken promise

A claddagh ring, full of promises and memories, lies here in cold chicago, away from her.

A long distance relationship requires more than just love. It requires learning. I thought love was all that we needed, but as time went by, she learned how to love, and I never did. Time and time again, she made me a part of her world, but I always kept her separate from mine. Time and time again, she gave me chances to learn, and time and time again, i never did.

So now, what we have is a relationship filled with broken promises. The fights, the tears, the frustration...

It's time i make it up.
