Sunset over the Arabian Gulf

Doaa and I were trying to plan when to meet after a hectic day at work. We were getting nowhere, and then she said, why not now. Why not, I said, so off we went to Souk Sharq - on the Gulf, and sat out by the open water, marveling at the new bridge from here to KSA. Then it was a scrummy dinner at Baker and Spice, one of my favourite places to eat here. Duck salad, a salad platter and coconut and pineapple cake. Yum!

The kids are tired today, end of term. Three hour classes are long. One more week to go.
