Broken Tree

Plan was get up early - at least an hour before dawn - meet Andy my professional photographer friend, trek to a really good location on the commons and grab a load of superb landscapes with cracking dawn skies. Didn't happen. The cracking dawn skies that is. Did the getting up early, tramping across pitch black boggy terrain etc but the dawn skies didn't really perform for us this morning. Anyway we still had a good session and got some decent images down in the flooded woods and on the walk back. Home at half eleven for breakfast, then off to walk the spaniel.
