Antler-less!
Today was another day of catch up at home and then some errands this afternoon. One errand was a visit to the local chicken farm to buy eggs. There are a herd of reindeer at the farm (obviously!!) as well as a couple of rare breed pigs, some goats and a few ducks and geese. There was a new baby goat but way in the distance so no good for a blip today.
The reindeer drop their antlers in March every year and then grow new ones. So today was the first time I’d seen them this year without them! They’re often very friendly but they pretty much ignored me today. The grass must have been very tasty!
