Buzzard on the lookout

This morning I drove the car for the first time in seven weeks and luckily I remembered what to do! 

I went to Ellesmere and had a walk along the canal which was quite busy with boats as the schools have broken up for Easter. It was beautifully sunny but glad that I'd got a warm coat on as the wind was cold.

I spotted this buzzard on a post in a field on the other side of the canal. A little further on was a little egret pecking around in a different field.

It was good to see bluebells coming out in the woodland, they'll be at their best soon.
