More spring flowers

I bought the cowslip plant at a charity plant fair 3 or 4 years ago and they are gradually mingling with the primroses.
Finished off some sewing jobs today as tomorrow morning I am having 5 bridesmaids turning up to have their dresses shortened by varying amounts.  As usual the dresses have been bought on line and made in a standard length.  Seems to be the normal thing to do these days.
They are celebrating the 'Hen Night' tonight so no doubt they will be a bit bleary eyed, but it was a chance to see them all together.
I am then going to the very much delayed Christmas Lunch for the charity shop.  The venue we were going to use closed down and it has taken until now to find somewhere that could fit us in and provide a meal for the amount allowed by the trustees of the charity.  It is their way of thanking us for our voluntary work.
