A Bird in the Hand....

....is better than no picture at all. Took a quick walk this morning & this is all I saw that caught my interest. I'm not sure what type of bird it is, as I can't find my bird book, but I'm thinking maybe some type of swallow? If anyone knows, please let me know, or I may just consult our resident expert dbifulco, as I KNOW she'll know. Heading out soon to meet two of my friends for a special viewing of an independent movie that's recently come out: Where There is Darkness. It's the story of a priest who devoted himself to working with the homeless, & one night someone murders him. The police catch the man who did it and the prosecutor is seeking the death penalty, when the priests' family finds a paper that Father wrote, stating if he ever met a violent end, not to seek the death penalty for whoever did it, as it was against his beliefs. The movie is a testament to all the positive things that came out of one tragic act. It's gotten very good reviews, so I'm hoping we'll enjoy it. Going out for dinner after the movie, so we'll have time for a good catch-up! :))
