Yesterday Pep Ventosa posted this image on his Instagram account. Bravo Pep, clever and very inventive. Hours later David Lodge introduced me to The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction by Walter Benjamin, suggesting that "modern art is supported by the scaffolding of discourse without which it would be indistinguishable from rubbish".
