Collected gerty from campershack with her new engine fitted.

She wasn't quite ready, Andrew wanted to sort out the gear linkage as it was really stiff and the engine needed the additive in the coolant.

So whilst we waited, Toby started stripping down her old engine. He took the rocker covers off, removed rocker arms and push rods. Anna then showed us how to remove waterboxer head bolts without snapping the studs. (Which gives the fear to everyone attempting this at home)

I told Toby to remember all this as he may have to do the next engine rebuild in Gerty.

New engine runs beautifully. Took it very easy on way home whilst we run in, but extra torque is welcome on the hills.
