Invasion

We have a bus parking lot located very near our apartment. It is used on weekends and during holidays for the Nationals who invade our little town seeking some sun and fun. We often see groups of people walking down our street, heading to the beach with their coolers and umbrellas for the day. This is the first time, however, that I can remember such a group walking, or should I say hiking, the trail to Playa Las Gatas. It is a much more challenging walk (most people catch a panga - see yesterday's entry - from the pier and skip the walk), especially when dressed in "cold weather clothes" as this group was early this morning. I predict they will be dressed somewhat differently on their return trip this afternoon.
