Why oh why?

On the way home stopped to take some photos and decided to carry on, on the other side (to normal) of the rowing course. Why oh why didn't I go the usual way which is beautifully smooth tarmac and not flooded! This side got so deep I panicked and put my feet down! What a dollop!!
