St Michael the Archangel

We walked into town along the river Lym. It was a lovely walk.

We found the Mill and spent along time there. There was an excellent cafe, a gallery, a brewery, a pottery, a jewellers and an operating mill. As I volunteer at a mill it was interesting seeing the differences. You can see part of the mill in the extra.

It was a lovely sunny day but really cool.

The image is St Michael the Archangel.

As Lyme Regis is on the Jurassic Coast it is famous for its fossils. So we walked along the new coastal erosion defensives and then onto a beach to look for fossils. We found some but most were in very large rocks.

We then called into the brewery to sample the local ales.

Lyme Regis is a lovely place and we’ve booked to come again in August.
