No Pink Today

It’s been a grey and almost foggy day all day today. I was out most of the day, having been invited to lunch after church. We ate and then watched the Cambridge V. Oxford boat races. Very exciting! (Cross country skiing is MORE exciting, though!)

When I drove home late afternoon the sun started to peek out and it looked like it might be a splendid sunset, so I raced to make a flask of tea and headed down to the lake, only to find that the sun had hidden away behind the clouds again. Oh well, it was still good to be outside, listening to the birds and enjoying the peacefulness and fresh air.

I last blipped this view a few days ago on April 1st. I may never tire of this view but it’s not always vibrant!
