Moving on .....

Collected AJ this morning to go back to her flat. Last Saturday we collected her from Poole hospital and took her directly to her new flat, and she hadn’t had time to re-visit for the last time her old flat. When we moved her out, there were some items left that needed to be cleared, so with more boxes we took a trip to Dorset.

Cold in the flat, being empty and no heating on. Managed to clear everything sorting in to piles - charity shop, back to new flat and back for other family members. Dropped off two boxes at the charity shop - disappointed that they wouldn’t take the duvet ........ found her radio that her parents gave her when she was 21, a Bush Bakelite radio.

Dropped into the estate agents to finalise things for putting the flat up for rent ....... Just need a professional cleaner to go in to freshen up ready for a tenant.

Collected the last boxes from the flat and back to the new flat. AJ very pleased to have seen her flat but stated that she had made the right decision, she is very happy. :)

Left her going off to the restaurant for dinner. Back home and after tea, watched Incredibles 2 (admit I fell asleep for a short while), good film :)

Housework and relax tomorrow ......
