The machine grinds on
Last blip up, this blip down.
I am recovering from a fit of fury over the exoneration of police brutality in the trial of a fellow change agent, Peggy Zebroski, who was suing the city because of excessive force used against her. Although a large policeman put his knee on her head and bloodied her face during a protest in which she was unarmed and entirely cooperative with the cops, the jury decided her glasses broke her nose, and not the cop. I am dumbfounded by the jury’s decision.
