Lunch

Met my sister at a place called The London Plane, down near Pioneer Square today for lunch. This is the view into the kitchen from our seat, high up on an open balcony. Their specialty is bread, with specialty toppings on it. My sister had one with "preserved lemon, za'atar, and charred fennel" on it - delicious. I just had an omelet with chives and manchengo cheese, and a hunk of the wonderful bread.

I'm glad it didn't rain much today because I walked the mile to the bus-stop and back to get my exercise. Spent the rest of afternoon reading another cozy mystery by M. C. Beaton which was set in Edwardian England. 

Son is in the kitchen preparing the next Blue Apron meal (he got 3 altogether).
