Cleaning Up

I am back at my marathon cleanup before the National Trust comes to see the house in May.

Today I went through boxes of old financial records. Some go back nearly 20 years so they can be discarded. 
It was quite a profitable exercise. There were hundreds of envelopes of petty cash receipts. I noticed one contained some coins and when I opened it I found $34.65 :-) There shouldn't have been any money inside but I did check a few others just in case. Couldn't go through all of them.

A couple of weeks ago, at the beginning of my cleaning venture, I double checked an old purse and found $150. 

It encourages me to keep at it.
