Cute guy or furry rat?

I was first here in Nov 17 after getting a smart phone with a ‘great’ camera but it didn’t really do it so I decided to wait.

Exciting times my wait is over.......... this is my first shot with my new second hand Nikon D5300 with 18-140mm lens at full zoom through my parents lounge window. F/10, 1/125th iso 400.

I’ve booked on a photography course next week at SGS college and hope to improve quickly. Comments and tips very welcome......
