All hail the cat!

I spent this morning constructing the Joining Instructions for the Walking Festival. It's a task I don't enjoy because they are full of precise details that have to be correct. It's out to proof reading by the rest of the committee at the moment.

Lunch was a delightfully prolonged affair at Alistair and Sue's house. Roy and Irene, Peter and Norma and Julie were there. The food was superb and the meal was conducted in a leisurely manner. We started to eat at about 2 and were having coffee at 5.30pm. The conversation was convivial and became deeper and more interesting with time.

We talked a lot about our backgrounds and how they had molded us.

Alistair and Sue have two cats; a brother and sister just as we do. I loved the way that this cat lay fast asleep while we sat and stood around the basket.

Not long to Line of Duty now. No interruptions allowed!
