Up Close and Personal

This is "Dad", the male Osprey from the nest that I watch on this nest cam.  The nest is less than 2 miles from home so I am a frequent visitor.  This same pair has been coming back to this nest for 10 years, so we're old friends. :-)  Dad was sitting on a perch across the pond from the nest and I was right below him.  When I walked away, he flew over to the nest for a little "pair bonding" with Mom (see extra).  It's not the best shot but I'm sure you get the idea.  

I am grateful that I'm finally starting to see some flowers blooming outside!
