The Gardens

This pin oak is my favourite tree in Blackheath.
It's a huge tree and looks good all year, but particularly at this time.

I don't love it just because it's stunning, but also because it's the focus of a great deal of activity.

In summer and spring people picnic under it and in autumn kids play in the tons of leaves.
