Crash

Walking to Tatton Park , a great country estate in the tranquil Cheshire countryside we came across this alarming example of more carnage on the roads. The four way junction to the Estate entrance is clearly lethal as motorists emerge tentatively onto a long straight road with a prevalence of  Porsches and Mercedes driven at high speed in this affluent part of the world. Luckily we missed the worst as the first car had already been removed, and one didn't want to look too closely at the fluids on the road. It never ceases to amaze me how we endure this daily death and destruction leaving thousands of families left alone in uncomprehending grief,, as bad as any war, but who would dare to challenge the almighty reign of the automobile destroying lives along with the planet? IBy way of contrast,  hope the extras remind me another world is possible.
