Palm Sunday

Went and got our olive, lavender, rosemary and palm branches blessed/ sprinkled with water (which was very welcome as I was hot and sweaty from having rushed to the church!).

Then processed up the hill to the other church carrying our blessed bunches to mass.

Later we met at church again and again processed - but this time around the whole town to different stations where at each one the priest said something, the band played/choir sang, and we said the our father - then the band started playing again and we processed on to the next place.

Then we drove to Sem Fim for the expat dinner - wonderful food and plenty of wine! And very interesting people - quite an eclectic bunch!
