1947 paddle steamer Waverley has arrived from her winter berth in Glasgow to James Watt Dock still with the protective steel shutters on restaurant and bar windows. Next is into dry dock here for her seaworthy certification and freshen up such as hull scrape and paint job and replacement of damaged rubbing strips on paddle boxes etc. etc.
The Clyde season ahead should hopefully start on the 23rd May followed by the West Highland sailings from 28th to the 3rd June
